From 1 January 2025, new rules in Sweden will enter into force that affect property owners and companies with more than 20 parking spaces. These rules are a further development of the legislation introduced already in 2021, which required all newly constructed residential buildings with more than ten parking spaces to be prepared for charging infrastructure. The new law means that property owners and companies will need to install charging points to meet the growing demand for charging options for electric vehicles.
