CTEK has announced a new partnership with Kelvelec Electrical Supplies, one of the UK’s leading distributors to the electrical wholesale market. Effective from 2 June 2025, the agreement will make it easier than ever for wholesalers and installers to access CTEK’s OZEV-approved CHARGESTORM® CONNECTED 3 (CC3) – with competitive pricing and next-day delivery.

This collaboration marks another step in CTEK’s growing presence in the UK, where demand for high-quality EV charging products is increasing rapidly. With more installers and businesses investing in EV infrastructure, especially for destination and workplace charging, the timing is ideal for expanding distribution through a trusted partner like Kelvelec.

“I’m incredibly proud to share our partnership with Kelvelec Electrical Supplies,” said Michael Swain, Key Account Manager at CTEK.

“Their distribution allows all UK electrical wholesalers access to CTEK products with competitive pricing and quick delivery. Alex, Jim, and their team have fantastic knowledge of the EV charging industry, and their enthusiasm around the CTEK CHARGESTORM® CONNECTED 3 has been fantastic to see. I am delighted to be partnering with Kelvelec, and accelerating the position of CTEK with electrical wholesalers and their installers nationwide.”

Established over 25 years ago, Kelvelec is known for its high levels of customer service, ISO-certified operations, and next-day delivery promise. With a focus on high-quality branded products, Kelvelec serves both national and independent wholesalers across the UK.

“We’re thrilled to partner with CTEK and to bring the CHARGESTORM® CONNECTED 3 to our wholesale customers,” said Jim Knight, EV Business Development Manager at Kelvelec.  “The CC3 is a standout product – robust, smart and future-ready – and it fits perfectly with our mission to supply best-in-class solutions to the EV market. This partnership strengthens our offering to electrical wholesalers and provides installers with faster, easier access to a charger they can rely on.”

The CHARGESTORM® CONNECTED 3 is CTEK’s most advanced EV charger to date – built for commercial, residential, and public installations. With full support for dynamic load balancing, solar integration and backend compatibility, it’s the ideal solution for professional installers. The CC3 is also OZEV-approved, ensuring eligibility for key UK grant schemes.

”Partnering with CTEK marks a key milestone in our growth journey. Their reputation for innovation and reliability aligns perfectly with our commitment to providing the UK wholesale market with cutting-edge EV charging solutions. Together, we’re not just responding to demand - we’re helping to shape the future of sustainable transport infrastructure in the UK” said Matthew Gooding, Director at Kelvelec.

This latest partnership follows a series of strategic moves by CTEK to increase its footprint in the UK EV charging market. As demand continues to rise, particularly in the destination charging segment, CTEK’s collaboration with Kelvelec will play an important role in making EV charging more accessible, reliable and future-proof across the country.

Road trip ready: how to avoid a flat battery ruining your summer escape

There’s nothing quite like heading off in a motorhome during summer. Longer days, spontaneous stopovers, coastal roads, mountain campsites and evenings spent outdoors – it’s what motorhome life is all about. But summer adventures also place extra demand on your vehicle’s battery system. Fridges run constantly, lighting stays on later into the evening, phones and devices are always charging and many motorhomes sit unused between trips.
