Midsummer motoring mayhem is coming to CTEK's area at the Ultrace gathering in Gdańsk at the end of June.

At Ultrace's Polish celebration of global automotive culture on June 27 and 28, CTEK is bringing both the cars and the stars of the scene.

We have the genius builder behind Ruffian Cars – Chris Ashton – who will be available to meet fans of his amazing creations. Chris uses CTEK battery chargers to keep his roster of outstanding cars and projects in prime performance condition.

Visit the CTEK area at Ultrace to meet Chris and enjoy a close-up look at two of his standout creations: the Ruffian GT40 and the Ruffian Galaxie.

The GT40 is a reimagined 1966 Ford GT40 Mk 1 with a 5.2 litre DOHC, whilst the 1963 Galaxie brings 700 horsepower of race car to the street in the shape of a full-size American sedan.

Signing up as a CTEK brand ambassador will be Fredric Aasb, three-time Formula Drift champion. The Norwegian is a flat-out Formula Drift legend. From his debut in 2008, Fredric has won more than any other driver.

A drift fan favourite, Fredric drives the Rockstar Energy Toyota GR Supra which packs more than 1,000 horsepower.

And there's even more to enjoy with CTEK at Ultrace Poland; the German speed engineers HWA are bringing one of their creations. The HWA EVO is a high-performance sports car at home on the road and track, built on the heritage of the Mercedes-Benz 190E but developed from scratch as a limited edition of 100.

HWA will be joined by CTEK's friends at ChromeCars – the 'Automotive Archaeologists' who seek out rare automotive gems from across the world.

There are a thousand reasons to visit Ultrace and every reason to swing by CTEK at this uniquely exciting event for fans of visionary automotive excellence.

Road trip ready: how to avoid a flat battery ruining your summer escape

There’s nothing quite like heading off in a motorhome during summer. Longer days, spontaneous stopovers, coastal roads, mountain campsites and evenings spent outdoors – it’s what motorhome life is all about. But summer adventures also place extra demand on your vehicle’s battery system. Fridges run constantly, lighting stays on later into the evening, phones and devices are always charging and many motorhomes sit unused between trips.
