CTEK is taking the next step in delivering future-ready charging solutions through a new partnership with Perific. By combining the CHARGESTORM® CONNECTED 3 (CC3) with both Perific Monitor One and Perific Max, the result is a complete charging infrastructure that is easy to install, intuitive to use and scalable for both private and commercial environments.

Fast and simple installation

One of the key advantages of Perific Monitor One is the quick and hassle-free installation. The device connects directly to the energy meter’s HAN/P1 port (RJ12 or RJ45) and communicates via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, removing the need for additional cabling. All configuration is done through the Perific app, making commissioning straightforward and time efficient. For installers, this means less time on site, fewer potential errors and a smoother start-up. Perific Max offers the same simplicity but is designed to handle higher loads and additional measurement points in larger properties and professional environments.

Intelligent load balancing

When paired with CTEK’s CC3 charge point, both Perific Monitor One and Perific Max enable real-time dynamic load balancing. The available electrical capacity of the property is automatically allocated to the charge point, ensuring charging is always safe and cost efficient without placing unnecessary strain on the system. By levelling out peak loads, the solution can also help avoid demand-based power tariffs and unnecessary capacity charges. This brings reliability to private homes as well as larger locations such as housing associations, workplaces and destination charging sites with multiple units.

Optimised energy use

The solution also includes smart energy features that make it possible to schedule charging during periods with the lowest electricity prices based on Nord Pool data. This helps customers cut energy costs while charging more sustainably. In the event of a communication interruption, the system stores essential data locally to secure continued operation regardless of whether Monitor One or Max is used.

Scalable for future needs

Perific Monitor One is developed to work seamlessly with CTEK’s CC3 and can grow in line with customer requirements. For larger properties or more complex installations, the system can be expanded or specified directly with Perific Max. This allows multiple measurement points, separate solar monitoring and greater flexibility. The solution is built to be future proof whether it is for a single home, an office or a multi-charger site with several CC3 units.

Available through electrical wholesalers

Perific Monitor One and Perific Max are both available through established electrical wholesalers, making it easy for installers to plan and deliver a complete CTEK solution. The combination of availability, app-based commissioning, simplicity and operational reliability gives both installers and end users confidence when choosing CTEK as their charging partner.

The partnership between CTEK and Perific is based on best practice in energy management and charging infrastructure, with a clear focus on customer value. The result is a solution that brings together safety, simplicity and intelligent energy control, making the CC3 an even stronger choice for the future of electric vehicle charging.

Road trip ready: how to avoid a flat battery ruining your summer escape

There’s nothing quite like heading off in a motorhome during summer. Longer days, spontaneous stopovers, coastal roads, mountain campsites and evenings spent outdoors – it’s what motorhome life is all about. But summer adventures also place extra demand on your vehicle’s battery system. Fridges run constantly, lighting stays on later into the evening, phones and devices are always charging and many motorhomes sit unused between trips.
