In December 2025, the 3G network will be shut down by most Swedish operators. This is a decision made by the operators and is beyond CTEK's control. Only Telia has currently announced that it will continue to offer 3G for a period after this, while other operators will shut down the network completely.

For those of you who use a CTEK EVA CONNECTED, CHARGESTORM® CONNECTED 1 or CHARGESTORM® CONNECTED 2 with a 3G connection, this means that the connection may be terminated if no action is taken.

NOTE! This does not apply to CTEK CC3, which always has a 4G modem if this option was selected at the time of purchase.

We want to help you ensure that your charging box continues to function fully even after the shutdown.

Your options

Upgrade to a 4G modem

We now offer a new 4G modem that is compatible with your existing charging box.

  • The modem is an add-on card, just like the previous 3G card, and clicks directly onto the control card.
  • Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician/installer.
  • Item number for the new 4G modem (Item number: 920-00050 or E-no.: 24 802 66)

 Connect via network cable

All affected devices also support Ethernet connection (network cable). If you have the option of connecting the charging box directly to your router, this is a cost-effective alternative that is not affected by changes in mobile networks.

Road trip ready: how to avoid a flat battery ruining your summer escape

There’s nothing quite like heading off in a motorhome during summer. Longer days, spontaneous stopovers, coastal roads, mountain campsites and evenings spent outdoors – it’s what motorhome life is all about. But summer adventures also place extra demand on your vehicle’s battery system. Fridges run constantly, lighting stays on later into the evening, phones and devices are always charging and many motorhomes sit unused between trips.
