2026 ist ein Jahr großer Chancen für Elektrofahrzeuge, sagt Stefan Gabrielsson von der weltweit tätigen Ladestationsmarke CTEK, da eine Vielzahl spannender neuer Modelle auf den Markt kommt und eine neue Ära intelligenteren Ladens möglich wird. Doch um den Umstieg auf Elektrofahrzeuge voll und ganz voranzutreiben, müssen alle Akteure im EV-Ökosystem die Fahrer dazu ermutigen, den Wechsel zu vollziehen. 

Stefan sagte: „Autofahrer warten auf die richtigen Signale – von der Autoindustrie, von Regierungen, von Ladestationsbetreibern, von Energieversorgern –, um auf Elektromobilität umzusteigen und deren Potenzial voll auszuschöpfen.“

CTEK prognostiziert, dass es 2026 zu bedeutenden Entwicklungen beim Laden von Elektrofahrzeugen kommen wird. Die Nachfrage nach öffentlichen Ladestationen wird weiter steigen, da immer mehr Haushalte – darunter auch solche ohne eigenen Parkplatz – auf Elektrofahrzeuge umsteigen und immer mehr Plug-in-Hybride (PHEVs) mit größeren Batterien auf die Straße kommen, bei denen sich das Aufladen lohnt.

Ladeanbieter werden die Einführung von 22-kW-Wechselstrom-Ladestationen prüfen, um die wachsende Zahl neuer Elektrofahrzeuge zu bedienen, die 22 kW Wechselstrom unterstützen. Modelle von Audi, BMW, Hyundai, Jaguar, Kia, Nissan, Peugeot, Renault, Volvo und VW werden 2026 alle mit 22-kW-Wechselstrom-Ladefähigkeit auf den Straßen unterwegs sein.

Stefan sagte: „22 kW Wechselstrom ermöglicht schnelleres Laden, was für Ladeanbieter eine schnellere Durchlaufzeit und eine höhere Auslastung bedeutet, jedoch bei deutlich günstigeren Installations- und Hardwarekosten für Wechselstrom im Vergleich zu Gleichstrom.“

Im Jahr 2026 wird auch das intelligentere Laden zum Mainstream werden. Dazu gehören mehr Autocharge und später Plug & Charge an öffentlichen und betrieblichen Ladestationen, da immer mehr Elektrofahrzeuge sowie Ladehardware und -software zusammenarbeiten, um das Fahrerlebnis zu vereinfachen und die Verwaltung für die Betreiber zu optimieren.

Öffentliche Ladeanbieter werden ihre Netze weiter ausbauen und sollten deren laufende Wartung sicherstellen, um die Netze robuster zu machen. Dies wird die notwendigen Grundlagen schaffen, um die neuesten Kommunikationsstandards und -protokolle zu nutzen und fahrer- sowie netzfreundliche, intelligentere Ladekonzepte voranzubringen.

Energieversorger werden 2026 mehr intelligente Tarife anbieten und weiterhin mit immer intelligenteren Methoden zum Laden von Elektrofahrzeugen experimentieren, um die Kosten so niedrig wie möglich zu halten und die Netze bei der Nachfragesteuerung zu unterstützen.

Stefan sagte: „Gemeinsam mit den Netzbetreibern sollten Energieversorger Hindernisse für intelligenteres Laden überwinden und Vehicle-to-Grid-Plattformen (V2G) entwickeln, die es EV-Batterien ermöglichen, Energie zurück ins Netz zu speisen, um Nachfragespitzen auszugleichen, Notstrom für Notfälle bereitzustellen und zur Stabilisierung des Verteilungsnetzes beizutragen.“

Regierungen und andere Behörden sollten weiterhin Anreize schaffen und Ladeanbieter dabei unterstützen, mehr Ladepunkte zu installieren und die Grundlagen für weitere zu schaffen.

Stefan sagte: „Angesichts widersprüchlicher Aussagen von Regierungen und der Industrie zum Tempo der Umstellung brauchen Autofahrer klare Signale, dass 2026 ein gutes Jahr für den Umstieg auf Elektrofahrzeuge ist. Dazu gehören deutlich mehr öffentliche Ladestationen, intelligentere Lademöglichkeiten zu Hause und unterwegs sowie dynamischere Stromtarife, die sowohl den Autofahrern als auch dem Stromnetz zugutekommen.

„Wenn das Laden intelligenter wird, Elektrofahrzeuge günstiger werden und die Förderung zunimmt, dann kann die EV-Revolution in diesem Jahr mit voller Kraft weitergehen.“
