Important Update – Migrate to Monta for a Smarter Charging Experience
At CTEK, we continuously strive to improve your EV charging experience. Since its launch in 2017, the Taking Charge app has supported CHARGESTORM® CONNECTED users. However, it’s now time to transition to a more advanced and feature-rich platform.
To achieve this, we have partnered with Monta, one of the leading smart EV charging platforms. As a result, the Taking Charge app will be discontinued on 1 Jan 2026, and we are now beginning the process of migrating users to Monta.
💡 What this means for you
To continue managing your CHARGESTORM® CONNECTED charge point after the shutdown of the Taking Charge app, you will need to migrate to Monta.
⚠️ If you do not take action, you will lose access to the Taking Charge app and the ability to control your charge point remotely. The app will stop working entirely by the end of 2025.

After submitting, you’ll receive a welcome message from Monta within 1–2 weeks, including a step-by-step guide on how to create your account and connect your charge point.

🚀 Monta is free for users with up to three charging outlets. Premium plans are available for larger installations.
