Travel with confidence

Whether you’re heading out in a campervan or motorhome, the last thing you want is battery trouble slowing down your adventure. Before you hit the road, make sure your vehicle is fully charged and ready to go.

And for extra peace of mind on every journey, bring a portable booster. If the unexpected happens, you’ll have the backup you need to get moving again quickly and safely.

From campsites to cross-country road trips — charge up, pack your booster, and travel with confidence.

Facts: How to prepare your campervan or motorhome batteries for the season

  1. Check the voltage before you set off. A fully charged 12V battery should read around 12.7 volts. If it’s below 12.4 volts, it should be properly charged before your first journey.
  2. Keep an eye on battery health. Leaving a battery discharged for extended periods can cause permanent damage, meaning it may need to be replaced sooner. Discharged batteries are also more negatively affected by cold temperatures. Regular maintenance charging helps keep your battery in good condition over time.
  3. Remember that modern campervans and motorhomes draw power even when parked. Alarms, GPS systems and onboard electronics continue to drain the battery during storage, making maintenance charging especially important.
  4. Keep a battery booster close at hand. A compact booster can save the day if you get stranded on the road.
