Charge Your Car Day Giveaway – Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

The promoter of this giveaway is CTEK Sweden AB, Strandvägen 15, SE-791 42 Falun, Sweden ("CTEK"). 

2. Eligibility

• No purchase necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning. Void where prohibited by law.

• The giveaway is open only to legal residents of Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Poland, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Netherlands, Australia, and the United States, aged 18 years or older at the time of entry.

• Employees of CTEK, its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising or promotion agencies, immediate family members, and persons living in the same household are not eligible to enter.

3. How to Enter

• To enter:

  1. Tag a friend in the official giveaway post.

  2. Follow the official CTEK account on the social media platform where you entered.

• Limit: One (1) entry per natural person across all participating accounts. Multiple entries using automated methods or fake accounts will result in disqualification.

4. Promotional Period

The giveaway opens when the promotional post is published on September 21, 2026, and closes at 12:00 BST on October 12, 2026 ("Closing Date"). Entries received after the Closing Date will not be considered.

5. Prize

• A total of ten (10) NXT 5 battery chargers will be awarded: five (5) selected winners will each receive one (1) charger for themselves and one (1) charger for their tagged friend.

• Approximate Retail Value (ARV): 1,300 SEK (approx. €115 / £100 GBP / $125 USD / $180 AUD) per charger. Total prize pool value: approx. 13,000 SEK.

• Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative will be offered. CTEK reserves the right to substitute the prize with an item of equal or greater value if necessary due to circumstances beyond its control.

6. Winner Selection & Notification

• Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries in a random drawing conducted within forty-eight (48) hours after the Closing Date.

• Winners will be contacted via direct message (DM) on the platform used to enter.

• Winners (and their tagged friends, if required to confirm delivery details) must respond to the initial notification within forty-eight (48) hours to claim their prize. If a winner fails to respond within this timeframe, CTEK reserves the right to forfeit the prize and select an alternate winner.

7. Taxes and Customs

Where applicable, winners are solely responsible for any local taxes, import duties, or customs clearings associated with the receipt or delivery of the prize.

8. Data Protection

• Personal data collected during this giveaway will be processed by CTEK solely for the administration, prize delivery, and fulfillment of this promotion, in accordance with applicable data protection laws (including the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation - GDPR).

• By entering, participants acknowledge that their personal data will be processed as set forth in CTEK’s Privacy Policy.

• Winners' names/handles may be publicly announced on CTEK’s social media channels as part of the competition announcement, subject to applicable rights to object under privacy law.

9. General Conditions

• CTEK reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the giveaway only in the event that fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond CTEK’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the promotion, subject to applicable local laws.

• This giveaway is governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sweden, without prejudice to mandatory statutory consumer protections under local laws in the participant's country of residence.

10. Platform Disclaimer

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, or any other social media platform where it is posted. Participants release all such platforms from any liability related to this giveaway.
