The first touchscreen CHARGESTORM CONNECTED 3i Electric Vehicle (EV) chargepoints from CTEK are now live at a newly renovated car park in Gothenburg — bringing a smarter, more interactive charging experience to drivers in the city.

Six dual-outlet CHARGESTORM CONNECTED 3i (CC3i) units have been installed at the Rosenlundsgatan parking garage, operated by ChargeNode for property owner Wallenstam — marking an exciting step forward in user-friendly public EV charging.

Together the new CC3i chargepoints can power 12 EVs at once, each at up to 22kW, and are busy working alongside 20 CTEK CC2 chargepoints in the semi-public parking garage with 74 bays, including spaces rented to office and restaurant tenants.

The CC3i chargepoints , installed as part of a thorough refurbishment of the parking garage, introduce a large, integrated touchscreen as a new user interface with clear, easy-to-read information on charging status, energy consumption, pricing and instructions.

This makes the chargepoints user-friendly for drivers, who can more easily keep track of charging costs and time, while the dynamic touchscreen supports operators and property owners as public charging regulations evolve.

CC3i has been designed to align with the EU’s AFIR requirements for public charging infrastructure, including ad-hoc payment access and clear user information at the point of charge. The CC3i chargepoints at Rosenlundsgatan feature zero-touch Autocharge for drivers to simply plug in – the CC3i communicates with the vehicle and, if a payment method has previously been set up, begins charging.

The integrated touchscreen enables unique, rolling QR codes for payments, generated directly on the chargepoints . This removes risks associated with static QR stickers, reducing the potential for tampering, duplication and fraudulent redirects.

William Lagerqvist, Property Manager at Wallenstam, said: “As property owners in Gothenburg, operational reliability and long-term performance are absolutely crucial when we invest in charging infrastructure.

“Our experience with CTEK’s equipment is that it delivers exactly that – robust and dependable solutions. What we value most about their EV chargers is the combination of high quality, ease of use and minimal maintenance requirements.

“For us, it’s not just about installing chargers, but about providing our tenants with a safe and future-proof solution where we know the technology will perform over time. In that respect, we find that CTEK truly lives up to expectations.”

Richard Forssell, Key Account Manager at ChargeNode, said: “Rosenlundsgatan is a great example of what's possible when property owner, hardware partner and operator are properly aligned.

“Wallenstam wanted a long-term, low-maintenance solution that would grow with their tenants' needs, and the CC3i gave us the right platform to deliver it. We're proud to be the operator behind the first CC3i installation in Gothenburg, and to keep building on this with both Wallenstam and CTEK.”

Andreas Byberg, Key Account Manager EVSE at CTEK, said: “It is exciting to see our first CC3i chargepoints installed, switched on and charging EVs. Our thanks go to our partners Wallenstam and ChargeNode for this excellent installation and we look forward to continuing to work with them to expand the availability of smart, futureproofed EV charging in Sweden.”

Delivered alongside installation partner Kalema e-Mobility, the charging solutions will support electric passenger cars and support vehicles used by athletes, coaches, staff and the wider organisation. Falun, Sweden – CTEK, a global leader in battery charging and electric vehicle charging, has entered into a new agreement with the Swedish Ski Association to provide EV charging infrastructure at Riksskidstadion in Falun, Sweden’s Alpine National Arena and the Swedish Ski Association’s Åre office. Under the agreement, CTEK is providing charging solutions from its CHARGESTORM CONNECTED 3 (CC3) product family. The project is being delivered alongside installation partner Kalema e-Mobility, which is carrying out the installations at Riksskidstadion, Sweden’s Alpine National Arena and the Swedish Ski Association’s Åre office. The chargers will support electric passenger cars and support vehicles used by athletes, coaches and staff, as well as other electric vehicles operated by the Swedish Ski Association. They will provide reliable and convenient charging when vehicles are at Riksskidstadion, Sweden’s Alpine National Arena or the Swedish Ski Association’s Åre office, supporting the Association’s continued transition towards more sustainable transport. For the Swedish Ski Association, the drive to constantly improve goes beyond athletic performance. The Association believes it is equally important to keep improving the smart, climate-friendly solutions that support its everyday operations. “We are delighted to work with the Swedish Ski Association as its EV charging partner. Elite sport depends not only on what happens on the track or slopes, but also on the people, vehicles and infrastructure working behind the scenes. By providing our CC3 charging technology and working alongside Kalema e-Mobility, we can help support the Association’s everyday operations and its transition towards more electrified transport,” said Johanna Mogren Sundqvist, Sales Manager EVSE at CTEK. Developed in Sweden for professional EV charging, CC3 can be adapted to different organisations, vehicle requirements and parking environments. The EV chargers can provide up to 22 kW per outlet and support connectivity and load balancing. This allows the available electrical capacity to be used efficiently while enabling the charging infrastructure to expand as the Swedish Ski Association’s requirements grow. "For us, this investment is about creating the conditions for a smarter and more sustainable operation. Our athletes, coaches and staff travel extensively throughout the year, and reliable charging infrastructure is becoming an increasingly important part of our everyday operations. CTEK combines proven technology with strong local roots in Dalarna, making them a natural supplier as we continue to develop our organisation and reduce the environmental impact of our transport solutions," said Johan Gräfnings, Swedish Ski Association. The agreement connects CTEK’s home in Falun, Dalarna, with the Swedish Ski Association’s activities at Sweden’s Alpine National Arena and its Åre office in Jämtland. For CTEK, it is an opportunity to support the Swedish Ski Association and its national teams with technology that makes a practical difference behind the scenes. The collaboration will also give CTEK agreed brand visibility across the Swedish Ski Association’s activities.
