Drum roll please … CTEK’s CHARGESTORM CONNECTED 3 (CC3) Electric Vehicle chargepoint is a finalist in the first Swedish Energy Prize.

A brand-new award, the Swedish Energy Prize has been established by the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre and is open to all exhibiting companies at Elfack 2025.

CC3’s success in making the shortlist for this prestigious prize will add to our excitement at exhibiting in May at Elfack, the largest trade fair in northern Europe for the electricity, energy and lighting industry.

The Swedish Energy Prize’s three winners – The Jury’s Choice, The Industry and Visitors’ Choice and The Jury’s Honorary Mention – will be announced during the event which takes place from 6 to 9 May at the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre in Gothenburg.

CC3 is one of nine finalists for the Swedish Energy Prize and has already been recognised in the UK as a finalist in the Best New Product category at the Electric Vehicle Innovation & Excellence Awards, known as the EVIEs. Last November CTEK was crowned Chargepoint Manufacturer of the Year at the EVIEs ceremony in London.

The 2024 arrival of CTEK’s CC3 built on CTEK’s decade-plus experience in designing and manufacturing award-winning EVSE.

The dual output CC3 incorporates the latest hardware and software innovations ready for easy installation and smart charging today, plus it is futureproofed for the possibilities of tomorrow’s exciting EV energy ecosystem with next level connectivity and control.

The Jury for the Swedish Energy Prize includes Saira Alladin, CEO of Installatörsföretagen (The Swedish Installers’ Association). Saira has said: “The electricity and energy sector is crucial to the climate transition, but if we are to succeed we cannot continue with business as usual. Innovation and co-operation between different actors are tools we must use to make it possible. That’s why the Swedish Energy Prize is so important.”

Henk Lubberts, President of CTEK’s Professional Division said “We’re proud that the CC3 has been selected as a finalist for the Swedish Energy Prize. It’s especially encouraging to see a jury that includes representatives from the installer community.

“CC3 was developed in close collaboration with installers to ensure straightforward installation, reliable low-maintenance performance, and futureproof functionality – all of which are key for professionals who need solutions they can trust today and rely on for tomorrow. We’re looking forward to showcasing CC3 at Elfack and contributing to the wider conversation about the future of energy and e-mobility.”

The fair is already fully booked and fills eight exhibition halls, with more than four hundred exhibitors showcasing their latest technology. The previous Elfack, in 2023, welcomed 22,000 visitors.

E-mobility & charging infrastructure is one of ten focus areas for Elfack 2025, and CTEK will be exhibiting not just CC3 but all its other hardware and software innovations in the field of Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE).

If you are travelling to Gothenburg to attend Elfack we look forward to seeing you at our stand (G00:01) and, hopefully, celebrating together.
