„WhippleD“ 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle feiert sein Debüt auf der SEMA 2024 am CTEK-Stand

Mit Spannung erwartetes Fahrzeug wird auf der SEMA Show vorgestellt

Machen Sie sich bereit für die mit Spannung erwartete Weltpremiere des 1970er Chevrolet Chevelle, auch bekannt als „WhippleD“, der von CTEK auf der SEMA Show 2024 präsentiert wird. November, um 12 Uhr auf der SEMA Show am Stand Nr. 23657 vorgestellt wird. Dieser extravagante Custom-Build, in Auftrag gegeben von Omar Schmitt, dem Eigentümer der internationalen Restaurantkette Senior Frogs, wurde entwickelt, um mit zurückhaltender Genialität die Grenzen der Automobilinnovation zu erweitern. Der von Nostalgia Hot Rods unter der Leitung von Dustin Hacker gebaute WhippleD ist ein kühnes, atemberaubendes Meisterwerk, das auf der weltweit führenden Automobilmesse garantiert alle Blicke auf sich ziehen wird.

WhippleD begann sein Leben als klassischer Chevelle mit Big-Block-Motor, wurde aber unter Schmitts Anleitung in eine aggressive Hochleistungsmaschine verwandelt, die von einer montierten CTEK CSFree-Batterie und einem LSX 408 mit Whipple 3.0-Kompressor angetrieben wird. Die Leistung dieses Kraftpakets wird vom Holley Terminator-Motormanagementsystem gesteuert, das für präzises Schalten mit einem Tremec T56-Getriebe kombiniert ist.

Dieses Fahrzeug, das am Stand von CTEK – bekannt für Batteriemanagement- und Fahrzeugladelösungen – vorgestellt wird, verkörpert die perfekte Verschmelzung von modernster Automobiltechnik und atemberaubendem Design. Die Besucher können die auffällige Valspar-Lackierung von WhippleD, die Budnik Spiders-Räder (22x13 hinten, 22x11 vorne), die Toyo-Reifen und die mit NHR Hydes-Leder in Denimblau bezogene Innenausstattung aus nächster Nähe bewundern. Abgerundet wird der hochwertige Look durch maßgefertigte Scheiben von AM Hot Rods Glass. Ein Premium-Soundsystem mit gelben Focal-Lautsprechern aus Carbon rundet das Fahrzeug ab und sorgt dafür, dass dieser Chevelle innen genauso beeindruckend ist wie unter der Motorhaube.

Das Fahrzeug verfügt über ein maßgefertigtes, einzigartiges NHR-Chassis, das mit einer Watts-4-Lenker-Hinterachse und einer unabhängigen Rohrrahmen-Vorderachse ausgestattet ist, ergänzt durch eine Shock Wave-Luftfederung von Air Ride Technologies. Diese Konfiguration sorgt sowohl für eine atemberaubende Optik als auch für rennstreckentaugliches Handling.

„Bei diesem Projekt geht es darum, groß aufzutrumpfen und ein Zeichen zu setzen“, sagte Dustin Hacker, Inhaber von Nostalgia Hot Rods. „Die Enthüllung des WhippleD am CTEK-Stand, wo Leistung auf Innovation trifft, könnte an keinem passenderen Ort stattfinden.“

Dies ist nicht das erste Mal, dass Schmitt und Nostalgia Hot Rods zusammenarbeiten. Ihr erstes Projekt, ein 1946er Willys Jeepster, sorgte auf der letztjährigen SEMA Show für Aufsehen, wurde am Treadpass-Stand von Toyo Tires präsentiert und von Car & Driver zu einem der Top-10-Umbauten der Messe gekürt. Nach diesem Erfolg sagte Schmitt zu Hacker: „Lass uns groß auftrumpfen“, und so entstand WhippleD.
