Die Autos in der Showcase Hall der Los Angeles Auto Show haben etwas ganz Besonderes an sich. Wir sprechen von atemberaubenden Einzelstücken, von berühmten Hot Rods bis hin zu exotischen Hypercars.

Und genau deshalb wird CTEK dort sein, zusammen mit unseren Freunden von Matranga Hot Rods, die drei außergewöhnliche Modelle präsentieren – einen 1955er Chevrolet Bel Air namens Brute Force, einen 1971er Cuda und einen 1964er Ford Galaxie 500.

„Brute Force“ macht seinem Namen alle Ehre – mit 800 PS aus einem 540-Zoll-Merlin-Block mit zwei Turboladern – und ist der Höhepunkt eines zehnjährigen Bauprojekts.

Der Ford verfügt über einen SOHC-Cammer-Motor (Single Overhead Cam), der für den NASCAR-Rennsport entwickelt wurde, aber mit 635 PS nie den Weg auf die öffentlichen Straßen fand.

Und Kent Matrangas Plymouth Cuda wird von einem 707 PS starken Hellcat-Motor mit Kompressor angetrieben.

Das Vater-Sohn-Team Bob und Kent Matranga nutzt CTEK-Batterieladegeräte, um die Batterien aller Fahrzeuge in ihrer Sammlung zu warten. Wir freuen uns daher riesig darauf, vom 21. bis 30. November im Los Angeles Convention Center bei der LA Auto Show mit ihnen zusammen zu sein.

Ein weiterer CTEK-Partner für Sonderanfertigungen, Ruffian Cars, wird ebenfalls in der Halle vertreten sein.
