CTEK and APCOA Partner to Revolutionize EV Charging in UK Car Parks
Our Innovative CHARGESTORM CONNECTED 3 Units to Power APCOA's UK Car Parks
We at CTEK, a global leader in vehicle charging solutions, are thrilled to announce our exciting new partnership with APCOA, Europe’s foremost provider of parking solutions. This collaboration aims to significantly enhance electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across the UK by installing our state-of-the-art CHARGESTORM CONNECTED 3 (CC3) units in APCOA-managed car parks.
Expanding EV Charging Capabilities
APCOA manages a vast network of 1.8 million parking spaces across 13 countries. By integrating our advanced charging technology, we aim to cater to the growing demand for reliable and efficient EV charging solutions. This partnership is set to deploy fast-charging units capable of delivering up to 22kW of power, significantly boosting the EV charging capacity in key locations throughout the UK.
Currently, APCOA car parks in the UK feature over 1000 EV charge points, with an additional 300+ installations planned for this year. These charge points serve a variety of crucial destinations including rail stations, hospitals, educational institutions, hospitality venues, retail centers, local government sites, and airports.
The initial implementation phase includes installations in car parks managed by Hillingdon Council in West London and 37 railway station car parks operated by APCOA for Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR).
