Troubleshooting

We are sorry to hear you are experiencing difficulties and our product manuals and FAQs have been unable to help you find a solution.

In most cases where the CTEK charger does not function the fault usually lays elsewhere, and not with the charger. An easy way to check if there is a fault with the charger is to try a charging session on another battery that you know to be working. If this fault still persists, you then have two options:

OPTION 1

If you believe your product to still be covered by warranty and have already checked the user manual and our FAQ, the faulty product shall be returned, with the receipt to the retailer/place of purchase together with a description of the fault. The retailer shall then provide a replacement product.

The warranty period for a product is stated in the applicable product user manual supplied with the purchased product.

OPTION 2

If you are unable to receive a replacement from the distributor/retailer, please complete our web form, selecting “Support Request” and “12V/24V Charging” from the list of options.

Please then complete all fields including the most accurate reason for the fault you are experiencing.

We will aim to be in touch with you within 3 working days.

If the product is within its warranty period you may be able to return it to us for a repair or exchange (depending on model). The majority of CTEK chargers under 10 Amps output have a 5 year manufacturers limited warranty. 10 Amps and above is covered by a 2 Year manufacturers warranty. To qualify you will need to be able to show us your proof of purchase if we request it.
