Avoid overload and tripped fuses in your self-contained house
The CHARGESTORM® CONNECTED 2 EV charger receives (via Modbus communication) the measured power from the energy meter and adjust charging power to the vehicle according to what is available at that point of time. The Energy meter is installed in the distribution panel of the house and connected to the CHARGESTORM® CONNECTED 2 EV charger with a standard Ethernet cable (the Ethernet cable is not part of the kit).

- One electricity meter (max 65 A) including an integrated RJ45 connector (The energy meter must be installed on the incoming power feed).
- One separate RJ45 connector which is connected to the control unit in the EV charger, by the electrician.
