Att äga en båt kan vara en fantastisk upplevelse som öppnar upp insjöar och det öppna havet för upptäcktsfärder och äventyr. Oavsett om du drivs med segel eller motor, förlitar sig alla moderna båtar utöver de mest grundläggande jollarna inte bara på vind eller bränsle för att fungera, utan också på elektricitet. Elektriska system ombord kan tillhandahålla ett brett utbud av tjänster och förmåner, beroende på typ och storlek på fartyget.

Systemet kan driva en motorstartmotor, navigationssystem, GPS, belysning, radio, USB-laddning för enheter, kyl och frys, matlagning och mycket mer. Ju mer sofistikerad båten är, desto större potential finns det för ytterligare elektriska belastningar, inklusive underhållningssystem och värme eller luftkonditionering.

Dessa system – varav vissa är säkerhetskritiska – förlitar sig alla på fartygets 12-voltsbatterier för att lagra den elektriska energi som behövs för att driva dem. Och som en så grundläggande resurs måste dessa batterier förbli friska, laddade och fungera på optimala nivåer.

För det behöver de övervakas, underhållas och laddas. Och ett idealiskt sätt att göra det är att ha en batteriladdare installerad ombord. Och inte vilken laddare som helst. Ett alternativ är en specialiserad marinladdare, som CTEK:s M15 eller M25.

M15 är en 15-ampersladdare, kompatibel med batterier från 28 Ah till 300 Ah (20 Ah till 280 Ah för litiumbatterier). M25 rekommenderas för båtägare som behöver snabb och effektiv laddning för större förbrukningsbatterier. Den är kompatibel med batterier från 40 Ah till 500 Ah (30 Ah till 450 Ah för litium).

Gratis och enkelt – portabel laddning
