A fast-paced CTEK employee recently made his international racing debut, representing Sweden in the go-kart equivalent of Formula 1!
Max Lindén, who works as an area sales manager for CTEK, covering the Nordic regions, competed against the world’s go-karting elite at the Rotax Max Challenge (RMC) Grand World Final in Bahrain last month (1118 December).
Max was one of 378 drivers from all over the world attending the final, having qualified for the competition with a second place in the Swedish RMC. He had also won other races including the Prince Carl Philip Racing Cup.
In Bahrain, after a series of qualifying races which saw Max competing against another 71 drivers in the Rotax Max DD2 class, Max made the final and finished in 23rd place.
“It was an absolutely fantastic experience in many different ways,” says Max. “It’s not every day you get to go to Bahrain, and it was great to compete in this top level competition. I am very happy with the final result. I have been beaten by the world’s best driver and I look forward to having another crack at the whip, should the opportunity arise. It has certainly been great fun to be able to play a small part in the international racing arena.”
