We are proud to say CTEK has been nominated for the Stora Leverantörspriset, one of the most respected awards in the Scandinavian automotive supply industry.
The nomination for the Stora Leverantörspriset (which translates as the Grand Supplier Award) reflects the company’s remarkable growth, its focus on sustainability and its role as an exemplar for the wider sector.
The awards jury commented: “The journey has gone from a garage project with motorcycles and enthusiast cars to becoming a listed, dynamic global player, today both an OEM supplier and a technology leader in battery chargers.
“With a strong position in the consumer market as well as the OEM and professional segments, the business model stands out as a winning concept in an era defined by sustainability.
“The company combines innovative design with strong entrepreneurship and a clear environmental focus, while its commitment to internationalisation and continuous research and development reinforces its role as an industry role model.”
Today, CTEK operates in more than 70 markets, and we continue to invest in new technology and product development to meet the demands of a rapidly changing industry.
Being shortlisted for Stora Leverantörspriset is also recognition of CTEK’s ability to adapt to a time of major change in the automotive world. Electrification, digitalisation and sustainability are reshaping the industry, and suppliers are under increasing pressure to deliver reliable, forward-looking solutions.
For CTEK, the nomination is not only a celebration of what has already been achieved but also an important sign that the company’s strategy for the future is the right one. The transition from combustion engines to electric drivetrains is the biggest shift the automotive industry has ever faced.
“Being nominated for the Stora Leverantörspriset is not only a huge honour, but also proof that CTEK is at the very forefront of the automotive industry’s transformation. We are extremely proud that our commitment to sustainable innovation, advanced technology and close partnerships with our customers is being recognised in this way. This acknowledgement strengthens our determination to keep driving progress and to continue shaping the future of mobility together with the industry.”
"Suppliers who can deliver practical solutions with strong environmental credentials will play a decisive role. CTEK’s commitment to sustainable innovation, advanced charging technology and user-centered design has created a strong platform for the future."
"By working closely with manufacturers as well as end customers, we are shaping solutions that address the needs of today while preparing for the requirements of tomorrow."
The prize winner will be chosen by the award committee, made up of FKG’s chairman Martin Lidén, board member Cecilia Schülén and CEO Peter Bryntesson, together with the two most recent winners, Jonas Adolfsson of SSAB and Joakim Fritz of National Sweden. The prize will be awarded on 9 October.
The Stora Leverantörspriset is awarded by FKG, the Scandinavian Association for Suppliers to the Automotive Industry. For nearly three decades, FKG has represented around 300 member companies and acted as the voice of the supplier community towards decision-makers, authorities and the media.
The organisation focuses on four main areas: supporting small and medium-sized companies, guiding the transition to electrification, strengthening skills for the future and promoting sustainability through local production. Based in Gothenburg, FKG works across the Nordic region and is a member of CLEPA, the European automotive supplier association.
